All

After FAR TOO LONG I have updated the SkirmishCampaigns main site (including a link to Chris P's Bloody Big Battles rules) and the Check Your 6! main site. I also added some details about some of the new projects we are working on.

Nice! What is this rumor I have heard about a version of CY6! for World War One?

(Leftee)17 Dec 2015 7:27 p.m. PST

The neglected Pacific is a nice move for SkirmishCampaigns. Would also like to see some Luettich, Nordwind and Arracourt (1944-5 France beyond Normandy battles).

Will put in a request for a 2017 (first flight 1937) CY6 'Brewster Buffalo' scenario book to cover Finland, Midway, Burma, Dutch East Indies and 'what-ifs' for Crete, Australia and Belgium! Maybe Buffaloes West! and Buffaloes East! A two volume set? Not niche at all! [You've done quite a few in the main rule book].

Have really enjoyed the jet combat rules – energy management is truly key! Twisting dogfights have gone from TAL 6 (or higher) to 1 pretty quickly, and MiGs without cannon suck, especially when missiles also suck pretty badly in the 60-70s!

[Some of the SkirmishCampaigns downloads are still no longer linked -wanted to take another look at 'To the Sound of The Guns'] – An Anzio book would be welcome too!

Would it also be heresy to put a link to Mark Fastoso's "Fireball Forward" and a 'translation' for SkirmishCampaigns?

Brucka

Will double check on the old To the Sound… Scenario download. Thanks for the heads up.

I can't find the Skirmish Campaigns books on any of the UK stockists websites. Can anybody help me with a direct link to the page on their sites? Thank you.

I have played my first Bolt Action game with this scenario;

I have played several scenarios using the Iron Ivan Disposable Heroes rules.

I used 20mm and 15mm figures and vehicles for the battles.
I am building and painting to play them in 28mm.

Ha Ha! Hedgerow Hell was my first ever Skirmish Campaigns scenario. I have since purchased about 8 or 10 of their books.

So funny. He'd row Hell one of our first scenarios. Had forgotten about that one!

Well I have ordered 4 of these books for 1940 and I think they will be great for my BA & CoC games.

Any word on the Holland & Belgium 1940 book? I want that!

Luisito28 Aug 2016 4:47 p.m. PST

Arc of Fire 2.0 still on the workbench ?

skirmishcampaigns28 Aug 2016 8:16 p.m. PST

Guys- no real movement on Holland book but note that there is one France 40 book that features the Belgian army quite a bit. I am sure you will like the France 40 books. Email me and I can send you my BA house rules.

Right now we are toying w rules for a Division level game, think playing TOTALIZE for example and this has taken priority over ARC of FIRE 2 for now (though we will eventually likely get back to it).

Also fully involved w getting the Skirmish Elite Guadalcanal book out and working on the new Tank Battles Pacific book. Not to mention about 4 CY6 books and a new Gordon Colonial Campaign book. All fun and good.

Cheers
Scott

At one time you were working on a Market-Garden book. Any progress on that?

skirmishcampaigns31 Aug 2016 7:58 p.m. PST

Afraid no progress on Market Garden other than we ARE going to do it and it will be a 4 book set. The three AB Divs and XXX Corps each w a book.
