I'd like to share a few pics of this little toyplane from 1959, when most of the actual B-36s have been gone to the scrapyard. It was made by an Italian diecast manufacturer called "Mercury". I stumbled over it by chance on e(vil)bay and won it for a nice price.
It is neither a particular accurate reproduction, especially if you look at the landing gear (brass wheels) and the tail (no radar). You'll also might note the absence of the prominent observation blisters (featherweight I, II or III configuration?). Even with the given inaccuracies, it's nevertheless a little beauty. With a wingspan of just about 9" or 23cm, I'd say its in a 1/300 scale. Anyway, here are some pics:

You could mod it to the NB-36 with decals alone.
