I like how the translucent wet fabric is done here. I've seen it done better and more realistically, but on those others I never have any idea how I would do it. With this one I can see how the colors are applied and can imagine trying it out myself.

I have read that it is all done with thin layers of paint. Watered down more than usual.

While the painting of wet cloth looks really nice, it seems she should have whiter or bluer skin.

i agree with Andy, if like a later interpretation of a Rusalka
blueish skin would look cooler( no pun intended….but of course, not necessary. what is more disconcerting is the thick wrists and huge hands…..
