I am sourcing 28mm Maxim or Gatling guns without crews.

Thank you for any or all suggestions.

Excellent! I now have my gatling guns sourced.

Any suggestions on maxims?

again Tiger has a vickers\maxim but with crew. try thevirtualarmchairgeneral.com. Patrick has Houston`s ships, guns and fittings, but they are 25mm not 28mm. wc-54 is the gun.

Old Glory has/had 28mm Maxims on wheeled mounts, both infantry and cavalry gallopers.

Another source is Reviresco for all sorts of guns on naval mounts both ship board and landing carriages.

Hinterland do a 37mm pompom on field mount.

The first link Web page does not have a gattling gun. What the are showing is a gardner gun. Still a rapid fire weapon and adds a bit of a change to having all one type of gun.

45thdiv,

I thought the same thing, however, if you look closer it does appear to be a Gatling.

No picture on its own but check their Belgian maxim and crew for the item.

TAG does the Russian Maxim on the small wheeled carriage in packs of 5, IIRC.

VCarter, I stand corrected. That is a gattling. Hard to see on my phone. Thanks for letting me know.

Askari Miniatures has a very nice Gatling gun in 28mm, as well as separate Russian, Cossack, and Turkish crews.
