It is very easy to find upper level armor formations, etc. GhQ comes to mind but I am sure there are others.

I have been wanting to do a miniature version of the old game Light Division. My plan is to do this with 15mm models and a stand representS a team or fireteam.

I cannot find any information on what an Iranian platoon was equipped with. Nor can I find anything on US forces from the era.

I am looking for company level ToEs for:
US Marine company
US Light Infantry company
US Ranger company
US mechanized infantry company

Regular Iranian army company
Revolutionary Guard company
Mechanized Iranian company

I do not need super detailed info. The Iranians probably had no uniformity in how their units were equipped. But it would be nice how they should have been equipped on paper.

The games I want to run are going to be a platoon or two and a few vehicles per side. I will be using "Manoeuvre Group" as the rules. They have a nice feel to them and are very easy to pick up.

Micromark Army Lists from Wargamevault.com are excellent, I have around 200 of them, including Iran and Iraq from the 1980-88 war.

I also recommend Micromark. I have their Iranian stuff from the Iran Iraq war.
they are under the "cold war middle eastern" section

they are about $1.5 USD each and a great resource. they go down to the team level telling you how each squad was equipped all the way up to army support and composition. American stuff is in there as well. for sake of actually trying to be helpful today; (this is all from memory)
depending on period of the war/formation, the mech companies get a little tricky. the M1 Abrams was introduced in 79, and the Bradley in 81, though I have read that Units really didn't start receiving them until 83. A friend was in the 3rd ( I really can't remember if it was ID or AD) in around 85 ish and said he never saw an M1, they had M60A3, and most were broken down.
US Army Infantry Company:
HQ: LT/M16
PSGTw/M16
RTO/M16
Medic
3x Rifle squads each with
1x squad sergeant
2x Fire teams of:
1x FTL with M/16
1x Rifleman with M-16
1x Grenadier with M-16/M203
1x Gunner with Squad automatic weapon (m249 introduced in 84, but from my knowledge was distributed slowly. can be m60/ m240 later on. 240 introduced in 77 but rangers had m60 in somalia. idk, Army is weird.)
1x weapons squad with:
1xsquad leader
2x MG teams with gunner and loader
there are Dragon teams here too. 2x I believe, gunner and loader.
Mech infantry will have 4x Bradleys, and from what I can tell, no weapons squad. each Brad carries 6 men, I'm not exactly sure how they all mount up.

If memory serves, the M113 equipped units still used the older org.
add an additional rifleman to each team. 4x M113 APC, 1 per squad. KEEP the weapons squad, it goes in the 4th vehicle.

Remember that the US Army was in a state of flux in the 80's. not everything was the same everywhere. there were units with new and old orgs, units with a mix of new and old equipment, Cavalry Regiments had priority for new equipment. you could see M1 tanks operating with M113's, but I don't seem to remember any instances with units having M60A3 and M3IFV together.
Tank Platoons:
old org was 5 tanks, M60A3
New was 4x M1, M1PI, M1HA or M1A1 in the very end of the decade.
again, the closer you get to the Cavalry, the newer the equipment gets.
