Hi all
We spent a very pleasant afternoon yesterday playing out a Regimental Fire & Fury game loosely based on events outside of Fredericksburg towards the end of the battle as Sedgewick's VI Corps sought to avoid the growing attention of Lee's Army of North Virginia.

With over 2,000 figures on the table, our end of year Xmas game where all attending club members get involved was a real blast in terms of eye candy, great banter and an interesting fun game.

If you would like to know more then just pop along to the DWG blog to find out.

Well done! A beautiful game, that looked interesting and engaging as well. A cavalry charge and good cake can't hurt either. ;)

I've been thinking about doing the same thing that you did, in using standardized unit sizes for big RF&F games, perhaps 8-10 stands. Did you treat all troops as Reliable?

Marvellous – a good read, thanks.

Thank you. All the troops were rated bulk standard "Trained"

Wonderful AAR and pictures. Lovely figures and table.
I really like the split rail fences, are they scratch built or bought commercially?

Hi wrgmr1,
A bit of both, with scratch built and some of the mdf variety which are very good and make the whole exercise a lot easier.

Wow, best ACW/WSF (!) game I've seen in a long time. Thanks for posting.
