I don't know if this is the right board on which to post this question, but it is the best that I could find. I will be in Paris (Texas) around December 18th. I was just curious if their is anything interesting to visit while I am there?

A magnificent, beautiful Wim Wenders movie…

Sorry, the post should read "if there is anything interesting to visit" not "if their is anything interesting to visit"

My wife is from Paris, Texas, and her family still lives there. So I've visited with her over the years, and know the place a little bit.

I actually like Paris, but it's kind of a sleepy place, to be truthful. Its old town square is kind of, sort of interesting. There really isn't much for visitors to see or do. Maybe there's some kind of gaming scene there, but I'm not aware of it. I believe there is a winery a ways out of town. If you like looking for antiques and second-hand stuff, you might enjoy some of the stores.

As I said before, I do like the town, and don't mean to be unduly critical. After all, we might end up moving there some day!

Try not to repeat the actions that sent you romParis.

Unless that is, you like watching the gass grow.

If you think Paris Texas is sleepy I would recommend a visit to Paris Ontario
