Hardcore fans will recognise the quote as being from Ghostbusters II, and it heralds the next post in my ongoing Ghostbusters Project, which can be found here:

All will be explained in the post…

Everything looks great. Really like the figures. The car is a beauty, and I always enjoy seeing a Plasticville building put to good use. Richard

Looking good.

Of course your topic title made me think of: "Jane you ignorant Bleeped text."

If the Egon stand-in is wearing blue, does that mean that you're going to paint the rest with the Real Ghostbusters schemes?

Thanks all.

Because I like or personalise things, these are MY Ghost busters, so think of it as a franchise that we haven't seen yet. They will be wearing the standard beige uniforms, rather than those of the cartoon.

My scientist is wearing a blue lab coat for two reasons – the first to differentiate her from the character the sculpt is based on who wears a white lab coat and as a nod to the coats the original 'busters wore in their first TV ad.

I really like the effect of your new ghost. He looks perfect to me!

Your projects are always so inspiring I'm not sure I should continue reading about them. I never fail to leave your blog without thinking, "Hmmmm…"

Thank you all for your comments – it's very much appreciated.

That's what I like about this hobby – everyone is very supportive of self-indulgent, slightly bonkers projects, as the majority of you have done something similar. And if my efforts inspire you to finally indulge yourself in your own self-indulgent slightly bonkers project, then my work here is done…

Well, other than completing the Ghostbusters Project, of course. And a further visit to Eternia. And painting up all my superhero figures. And possibly a Forbidden Planet-inspired retro sci-fi project. Oh, who am I kidding? I'll be doing this until my eyesite fails and my hands are too weak to hold a brush…
