An overview of the now expanded range of Highlanders for use between 1640 and 1745 can be seen here

Clearly some types may be a little out of period at the extremes of the 1640-1745 spectrum but many have a wide application. Steve Shaw is the sculptor.

You can never have too many Highlanders.

@ Winston SMith; Yes, you can! I've got a couple hundred WAS/SYW highlanders; 100 Jacobite Rebellion Highlanders; 60 AWI Highlanders; 80 Napoleonic highlanders; 40 WWI; and 28 WWII highlanders to paint! AND that's on top of the 300 or so I have already painted! What was I thinking!!!!

The Warfare miniature Highlanders seem nice sculpture, but their kilts don't have nearly enough flare. Several yards of tartan wool cinched in 'round your waist tend to flare out a bit!

If you don't want the Jacobites or AWI Highlanders send them to me. PM me for my address and I'll paypal you the shipping.
That should lessen your guilt feelings.

And I'll also take any Eureka FIW Highlanders in campaign dress off your hands too if you have any.
I'm here to help.

@Winston Smith; Retirement looms! One day I'll get through them all! All those diced hose to paint!!
