WSS,AWI so far.Tempted to take the plunge into Napoleonics,1812,using Shako. Basing option A has 9 15mm on a 3 1/4 inch fontage. Nine figures do not a battalion make,to my eyes;can't suspend disbelief,I guess. But I can get six Old Glory strips double ranked on a 3 inch frontage base. 30 figures-- now thats a battalion.

But I don't need to tell you guys this, you're the choir, right?

My goal is Blenheim with all units present,no bathtubbing. We'll see.

Mute Bystander13 Jan 2016 4:24 a.m. PST

Oh no… Not another size of figures!

Chose to go with 15mm for smaller actions, 6mm for SF combined arms, and 3 mm for aerial. Did keep legacy 25-30mm figures but dumping all but a few sets over time. Exception is 6mm also for WWI aerial as a small specialty project.

I have been tempted to use10mm for small fantasy creatures but have resisted so far.

May go 3mm for horse and musket too…

Is there any other scale than the one true scale. WW2 and Modern.

Badger there is lots of 1/144 modern and if you don't have it, get it put on AOTRS Commanders to do List of stuff he is going to do. Lots of my stuff is now available. Way better Better than metal almost as good as Injection moulded but not quite.

Ps Shapeways stuff can be ordered in the US or Europe so postage is not a big issue.
