Tony was kind enough to come in last night and give the Wollongong Wargamers a brief lecture and demo of his Berthier Campaign system.

I know he's posted about his recent enhancements on TMP recently, but I'm blowed if I can find that thread now!

Anyway, long story short, looks to this bunch of veteran gamers like an intuitive and robust campaign system that requires very little of your pc to run, and is free to download. It will even fight out those engagements that are two small to transfer to the table top for you.

Example of campaigns he showed us were Ancients DBA, WW2 Pacific Naval Campaign, and Napoleonic's.

And the audience were all confirmed technophobes like me, our two geeks were off sick!

If you need a campaign system, highly recommended. Don't undervalue just cos its free!

It was nice to finally meet the Wollongong Wargamers. Thanks you for your invitation to demonstrate Berthier.

I'm hoping to release an update within the next 2 weeks. I'm doing the final testing at the moment. Keep an eye on the TMP news.

If you downloaded Berthier 9.5 recently I've just put up an updated version. I inadvertently introduced a bug in v9.5.1 that would manifest itself under some obscure conditions. Please download the update v9.5.2. The download is at -

Can anyone tell me if Berthier can be used for multi-player campaigns?
