I have finally bitten the bullet and decided to plunge into the mad world of Old School Wargaming and 18th Century Imagi-Nations after a mere six years of umming and ahhing. You can find my blog on the subject here: molgraviangazette.blogspot.com – I look forwards to developing the armies of Molgravia and her friends and foes over the years to come! |

Best of luck with your project--let us know how it goes, especially your plan to paint a company a month. This is one of those things I've always wanted to do, but it was a big, expensive project, and others always got stuck in front of it. Maybe I need to get on with it in the next couple years before I retire. Grelber |

Oh, I'll be boring you all rigid with updates here and on the blog I should expect. :D First purchase will be made after Christmas so the first few updates are 'just' going to be pictures of sketches and things, discussions of my ideas and that sort of thing. |

Bookmarked. Looking forward to following your project – may it bring you much enjoyment over the years to come! |

I found the notebook! It's a definite blast from the past. Still waiting for those Crusader Miniatures chaps to arrive though. link |

Double post, but it's my thread. The Crusader Miniatures fellows arrived! And I'm already working on them: link |

Triple post, because I can. I've put paint on the first company of the Liebgarde zu Fuss and managed to finish the command group (well, I haven't done the flag, but shhh): link |

Great job so far! Nothing like getting started on a new project. Looking forward to seeing it grow. Unfortunately it seems one cannot comment on the blog without signing up for something, so I'll do so here: Since you mention Charge! as your inspiration and Blasthof Bridge as your target, bear in mind that while both armies use platoons of 8 infantry and troops of 4 cavalry as building blocks, one side has 40 foot and 12 horse to the other' 32 and 16. This slight assymmetry of firepower vs. mobility is what makes a fairly straightforward scenario interesting. Of course, the ratio could then be scaled up to companies and even battalions, for balanced but interesting forces. |

Thank you very much! The Molgravian side of Blasthof will be the 40 foot and 12 horse one, I think. I have also altered it so anyone can comment on my blog now. Bit of an oversight that. Also, I've done some more stuff to the Liebgarde! link |

They're finished! Or at least, the first half of the regiment is finished. Phew, these Charge! style units are big. Anyway, go and have a look: molgraviangazette.blogspot.co.uk and please do comment, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. |

And more arrivals have, er, arrived! Painting will begin tomorrow (or perhaps the day after): link I am rather looking forwards to painting the pompous colonel of the most senior Molgravian regiment… but not so much his horse. I am not a fan of painting horses. But there we go. |

Some progress! Not much, but some! link |
