Or, an update on which editors are here and not here. grin

Editor Julia is back and catching up on her emails and PMs, after taking some time off for her first fillings ever (called 'pasta' in the Philippines).

(Julia took this selfie after the drilling…)

I was surprised to learn that they do not numb the mouth before drilling… only if you "need it"!

Editor Dianna is off today after getting a new crown and a large number of fillings – three hours in the dentist's chair!

Editors Gwen and Hebber are here, and are caught up on all their emails and PMs. grin

Note, to self, before traveling to Philippines again, make sure teeth are ok! On the bright side, a Dr's visit cost me $10.00 USD, five minutes waiting, and a Dr. who knew what was needed. The antibiotics? $5.00 USD!

Actually, I don't get any anesthetic when I have fillings either. The last time I had a replacement, it was a big job and my dentist suggested I had a jab! I was glad he did considering the amount of drilling he did!!!

Never get numbed when I go in. Takes as long as the procedure so just get on with it.

I remember dentistry without anesthetics from when I was a kid. My dentist had gone straight from dental school to the army – for WW1.

Had a new crown made while I wait on Tuesday. Was there 2 1/2 hrs, wish I had taken my kindle to read my book in the down time.
