Those look pretty good to me! Did you use Russian Green, or another color for them? |

Welcome back to the world of painting! I would shorten the antennas by half. Most of the photos I've seen show a short antenna (up to twice the height of the turret) with only a rare few having very long antennas (and none the length of yours). Second, I would recommend a highlight of the base color on the upper surfaces to bring out some more of the detail -- a high contrast between highlight and base color works quite well on dark vehicles. But…I'd be proud to have these in my collection. Good job! |

The base color was a mix of yellow olive, russian green and dark green….. I attempted to do as sloppy painter advised I highlighted with Russian green twice lol.. then highlighted again with Russian green mixed with sand hmm 50/50 I'd say.. but yeah I do agree.. I did wash with Mig Ammo wash for green vehicles which maybe made too dark :( maybe try Army Painter soft tone next time? |

The single vehicle antenna for sure is too long took that before trimming…… how about the the ones in the group photo? |

These would probably be VHF whip antennae – no more than 1.5 – 2.5 meters in length, with 30 up to 50 cms of goose neck /whip tie at the base, slightly thicker …so for 1:100 scale, even I can do the math – 1.8 to 3 cm! For command/spotter vehicles on an HF net, roughly double that length…. |
