Yesterday some of my friends came over to do an English Civil War game. Each side had 2 Guns,4 units of Horse and 6 units of Foot one of the Foot units on my side was mine as I finished painting/basing it the night before. This was a learning game for most of us and eventhough I was on the losing side it was still a good experience. My Foot unit survived although one of the two Musketeer groups in my unit was destroyed. But now I need to paint up more units of my own. Michael |

The rules were Pike and Shotte and I did take pictures but they don't look that good so maybe next time I'll post pictures. Michael |

I like the look of Pike and Shot games….but…my plate is so full of every thing else….unless I find someone dumping their stuff…..I have to look from afar……. |

I've played Pike and Shotte a couple of times, but for Italian Wars. Must say, I enjoyed them, and think they have a lot of potential. Especially if you like to fiddle/House Rule them. |
