So since we're going to try Laserstorm next week, I decided to put together a new force. The 1st Samarkand. Now, I know some people are going to notice the mix of scales, but I think the various pieces seem to work well together. Dystopian wars Blazing Suns armor, Battletech infantry, Heavy Gear fleet action mechs, and a MicroMachines Jawa vehicle as the big troop transport.

I think the result looks quite stunning :-) People tend to overlook the possibilities of using out-of-scale figures, and especially for 6-10mm, it really does open up all sorts of opportunities. |

Very nice. Please put up a report of your game. We've had a few games of LaserStorm here, and it played as well as Epic Armageddon. It's woefully under-publicised though. Any War Engine or aircraft rules on the horizon yet? |

Aircraft is in the works, once I get the next two army lists done. War Engine? |

Very well done. The mix of pieces works quite well, and I agree that different scales can work quite well together. |

Well done. The force looks great. Please share your feelings on the rules and maybe an AAR. |

Weasel, "War Engine" is the name in Epic 40K and Epic Armageddon for things that can be hit more than once. Super heavy tanks, titans, gargants, etc. andy |

Oh I gotcha! The trick there is to do it without record keeping ;-) |

This is great! And my uninformed eyes can't tell the difference between the various brands and sizes. It all looks superb! |
