Howdy folks,

I thought I'd post my first platoon of Canadian Great War troops…49th Battalion Loyal Edmonton Regiment, 3rd Division, CEF.

Cheers.

Stanley great work, I'm from Edmonton and I need to ask Oiler72 from Ontario. Please explain the connection if any.

Very nice! Germans beware!

Thanks for the feedback…my ego definitely appreciates it.

GG, the connection you ask…grew up in Alberta, spent some time in Edmonton…when it was still an airbase…'72 for a couple of reasons, mostly because of the 72 hockey run between Canada and Soviet Union…

Oiler…well, I was a pretty rabid Oilers fan in the era of Ryan Smyth…but one of the callsigns for my last squadron was 'Oiler'…which at one time was based in Edmonton.

thanks for the question, lol…

Very nice. I like the basing and the way you used the extra mounting holes for mud puddles.

Nice work!

Thank you Wehrmacht, thanks Red…the holes in the base just seemed the best place start…they screamed "craters"…

Great story Oiler72.
