That was 15mm figures and scenery this is just 15mm figures. Totally different question. Same answer though. |

Peter Pig has the most comprehensive range available today, and probably the most convenient to access if you live in the UK. You can combine them with the QRF (ex-Frei Korps) range, to give pretty much every troop type that took part. Both are "true" 15mm, so they should fit together reasonably well. |

Blue Moon (Old Glory 25s) has a tremendously diverse AWI range available in their larger "18mm" scale line. There are a total of 62 packs to choose from, and you can supplement them with some of the figures from their French & Indian War line. I've found them to be easy to paint, very durable, and they look great on the table. link |

Blue Moon, pretty accurate, look like real people. |

This is a 'depends' question. Do you want true 15s or larger 15s (18)? Do you want very regimented figures for linear battles or are you more interested in each figure unique for skirmishing? If the latter, Blue Moon, hands down. If the former – Stone Mountain, Freikorps, Peter Pig, Polly Oliver, and MInifigs give you tremendous variety. If you want cavalry beyond the 'norm' offerings then hunt about amongst eh QRF Seven Years War offerings. But 'best' is entirely subjective so only you can answer the question for yourself. |

Don't forget the Essex miniatures super detailed true 15mm! |

If you're talking current manufacturers, Essex, Peter Pig, QRF are probably the best for 'true' 15s. Though I still like the old Frontier and Jeff Valent's range. Has anyone bought any B & D Miniatures? Larger 15s – I have to agree with Early morning writer – Blue Moon are awesome. |

Blue Moon are about the only company doing Burgoyne style uniforms in 15/18mm. |

Actually, Essex do some nice infantry and artillery crews for Saratoga as well, and I think Peter Pig might have some in the pipeline. Sadly, nothing new on the Polly Oliver website/blog since September 2014. |

For mounted officers, you can't go wrong with 19th Century (Old Glory 15s)As for the foot, $400.00 USD worth gets you the hefty 40% discount. Some of them are compatible with BlueMoon, which I like for the individuals, civilians, etc. Minifigs, PeterPig, Musket (if they come back) and Essex mix well, not so much with Blue Moon, which I tend to leave in separate units. |
