Hey, all. Has anyone taken a 10mm tank model and stated, loudly, that it's a super-heavy for, say, Epic Armageddon? Does it look ridiculously out of scale? I am considering adding some 10mm tanks to my Epic force as super-heavies but before I spent a gajillion dollars (darn you, shipping costs!) I wanted opinions and, if anyone has a WWI Mother tank in 10mm, a comparison to some 6mm Chimeras or other APCs. Thanks! |

We've done that. It'll look pretty well if the 10mm model is pretty clunky looking. On a big gaming table, surrounded by hordes of troops, it'll look pretty imposing. |

It could work … But it would be clearly bigger. |

I did it once for a game of OGRE. I used 6mm figures & vehicles and had a scratch built OGRE that I made up in some weird non-scale. Used old Roco minitanks Marder tracks and hulls as the basis. A massive vehicle surrounded by the small stuff looked amazing. But that was the 80's and we don't do drugs any more… |

the main problem I have found in trying this is that hatch sizes, sculpted on stowage etc look odd and I haven't found an effective way of making them look smaller |

I use the 3 OGREs I have as Titans/Mechs for Epic. They look fine … |
