Very nice and fine figures. I hoped 1/72 but I reckon AB 18mm

Vielmaler02 Dec 2015 12:18 p.m. PST

Was based in Hanau when I was in army a few hundred yards from where part of the battle was (Lamboy Strasse ran past the Concern). I was told that there was a Memorial to the battle but I never saw it.

Had the Bavarian army and thought about fighting the battle but never had the French or Austrians to do it. I do have the armies in SYW figures but it would not be the same.

Marc, eat your heart out. For once 28m figures have it right. Everything I can see is Perry. Not sure I follow the Black Powder title actually.

How can you show Hanau without Gardes d'Honneur?

Let's face it…a pretty unit that really did not get many other opportunities to feature!

Curses – the 28mm's have it grin

And GdeH – a very colourful set of regiments – love the shakos and plumes. I did not know until recently that the cords were doubled up on the front, so none round the back. So, does anyone actually make these yet?

Vielmaler07 Mar 2016 11:38 a.m. PST

Fist paint the river with normal acryliccolor and after if its dry paint with acrylic-clear / colourless
verry simple and favorable
