Here's a couple new boats I am working on for our Pulp Alley game. I designed these in 3d and printed them on a Stratasys BST 768 ---
The blue version in the background was the first print of this model. I made a few adjustments on the second one, but I might as well use both!! :D Dave Pulp Alley |

@ Pulp Alley Have you thought of using Lego ship hulls to start with and then adding desks and detail? auction |

Wow! 3D is becoming super useful, would you be able to work out the costs? Just so we're can get an idea. The gaming future IS looking at a new bright option. Idf love to design a old pulp spaceship for 28mm for 3D. Cheers thanks for showing. |

@ gavandjosh02 -- cool! thanks for sharing the link. @ zargon -- Well, for me it didn't cost anything but my time. Spread out over a couple weeks, it probably added up to about 4 hours of design time. The filament material would probably run $5 USD to $10. USD But it is the cost of the machine that's the real killer. Luckily I get to run a few pet projects through when nothing else it going on. Dave Pulp Alley

Wow that's cool. Eliminate the wheelhouse, move the boiler to the center and put a tarp over the stern and it's the African Queen. |
