I have not yet painted up my 28mm plastics from the Perry Battle in a Box set, but I wanted a go of their rules, so I set up a game with my 12mm figures. This link gives a blog entry on initial observations and a rules overview. link |

Nice right up and confirms my thoughts that these are ideal for beginners like me who don't want to much complication in the beginning. |

Thanks for the review. Just another tempting reason to give 28mm a try. |

I'm getting the perry box for Christmas but I think rulewise I'll stick with 'Guns at Gettysburg' and ebay the rules that come in the box |

I've played two games of firepower with the contents from the battle in a box. Managed both games within 3 hours. Was a nice easy yet very fun game to play. Easy to tweak the rules here and there to. |
