A while back I found a company that produces a 28mm mini of Jack Burton from "Big Trouble in Little China". The site showed a painted figure with (if I remember correctly) oriental lettering on his white tee shirt. I'm also looking for a 28mm figure of Mad Max as the "Road Warrior" in his iconic leathers and carrying a sawed off double barrel shotgun. This mini *might* be from the same company that did the Jack Burton mini as it is also shown painted. |

I think it was Studio Miniatures. |

I'm not sure about the "Jack Burton" model, but Studio Miniatures do a Road Warrior figure as you describe. Look for "Mel" amongst their Survivor range: link Hugh |

Thanks Colgar6 and Insomniac. That's the Max figure that I remember. I must have confused the Snake Pliskin mini with the Jack Burton one. |

North Star had a limited Jack Burton as part of the Fistful of Kung Fu game. Hasslefree has has just just released pictures of a green for another Jack Burton lookalike. |

"Snake Pliskin? I thought he was dead". Not hardly. Oh wait…that was John Wayne in "Big Jake". |

A bit late, but since no one else has mentioned it… I believe you are thinking of RAFM:
link One of my favorite movies by the way… "When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail." |

By coincidence, Hasslefree Miniatures just unveiled a new mini which could also be of interest:
