Wow – the Forged in Battle/Westwind second ancients kick starter was funded within 3.5 hours – already through the first strech goal and nearly at the second. I did the first one also – absolutely fantastic figures IMO. link |

Definitely one to get aboard, their last one was the best run KS I've participated in, and the figures are top of class. |

I was fortunate enough to nab an early bird Emperor. Being on the west coast of the US has its disadvantages at times. |

Anyone know how these compare in height/ bulk to other Imperial Romans? I have AB and Old Glory, not in same units of course. |
McWong73 | 29 Nov 2015 1:26 p.m. PST |
The figures from the previous KS were similar in height to the Corvus Belli range, if that helps. Not a great match for AB or Xyston. |

The Skythian Cav I bought were compatible with OG and Essex. MH |

And do we really need yet another set of Romans? Could we have some rather more imaginative army choices? There are some big gaps in available figures – and I for one, would like to see a Sasanian range that doesn't repeat the errors in AEIR and other books. |

I have signed up for this one, as I was very pleased with the figures from the previous one. The last kickstarter was run extremely well, we were kept informed about progress all the way through it, and the figures were a bargain at the price you got them for. Steve J |

I can only agrre. It was a well run Kickstarter with no problems at all. I think it is alwasy good to have new 15mm lines. If we are honest many existing ranges show their age and these new miniatures are another step to offer practical, visually appealing 15mm miniatures that can be painted to a high standard. |

@McWong73 and HindsTMP Thanks chaps; that is helpful. |

I'm onboard a Emperor level. |

I already have one EIR army, but these figures are just too beautiful not to back, sign me up for the Emperor level (plus that Trajan mounted figure is too tempting not to get, I love that guy!) |

These look great … does anyone know if they are planning on extending their Roman lines to cover the 3rd/4th century? |
Henry Martini | 01 Dec 2015 6:01 a.m. PST |
According to their Kickstarter page they appear to have realised the commercial sense, given the impending release of Aurelian, of including 3rd century figures. |
CATenWolde | 01 Dec 2015 8:32 a.m. PST |
That would be great news – but I can't find a mention of it on the Kickstarter page? |

For years I've been thinking I would treat myself to 28mm Romans, Sassanids and Palmyrans from Aventine and A&A but that plan has now gone all 15mm on account of this range. |
