Today, those of us in North East England got another great show to go to, Battleground! Its in Stockton-on Tees. This show is getting better and better each year, long may it continue! My picture heavy report is on my blog at: link

A very good report on a very enjoyable show – I hope you will come along and do a similar report at our show – Muster on the Parade Ground 2016 on 9th July 2016 at the same venue. |

Now there's a comprehensive write-up – I didn't notice you taking anything like so many pics! Thoroughly enjoyed the show – many thanks to Leon & co. from 'Pendraken' for getting things together. It seemed nice and busy, so hopefully the traders did well. Over at the DBN table, we never did get a successful outcome to D'Erlon's attack, but mine came closest and I'm cheap enough to count that as kind of a win. Picked up a lovely fully-painted 28mm resin terrain set (middle eastern walled compound with various internal buildings) and a job lot of medieval character/command/casualty packs from the B&B for £10.00 GBP each, and yes, yet another book on the LBH: "The Custer Myth", by William A. Graham. (It might contain some scrap of information which isn't in the others… I couldn't take that chance!) The campus cafe ran out of bacon sandwiches at 10:04. Sterling work, Gentlemen! Great to say hello to everybody. Doing it all again in July sounds like a good idea to me! |

I hope you will come along and do a similar report at our show – Muster on the Parade Ground 2016 on 9th July 2016 at the same venue. I will indeed go if its at the same venue, as I can get to it without too much trouble! I was glad to see the improved lighting in the hall made picture taking far easier! Incidentally, Westerhope Wargames group have put a report on their blog at: link |

Thanks for all the comments, glad to hear everyone enjoyed their day. The was one of the few disappointments and we'll be going over to have a chat with them about that this coming week. |

I travelled down to the show from Scotland. It's not much further than Newcastle/Gateshead so will probably make it an annual journey from now on. Brief report at: link |
