Hi: I have enough figures for 4 Pathan "Tribes" (10 muskets, 10 melee troops). I plan on totaling about 10 units, are there any unique units I could give the Pathans to make them more interesting? For example, did they have any cavalry? I think I could use irregular Sikh army cavalry for those. Any artillery? Thanks in advance.

The Newline 20mm Pathan cavalry are very nice and fit well with my mostly plastic NWF forces.

In addition to some cavalry and artillery, you could add a few Ghazi units -- religious fanatic mellee troops who you can rate with better morale when it comes to their chances of closing into combat with the enemy, and give slightly more melee strength than standard Pathan tribesmen.

Then if you want to go further afield and really mix it up, you could raise some Afghan regular army troops from 1878-1880, or 1919.

Thanks guys, that's great. So 6 tribes with 50/50 muskets and swords, 2 Ghazi berserkers, one cav and one arty? Muzzle loaders or breechloaders?
