Hey guys, I've been working on a miniature project with Peder Bartholdy, the sculptor, for awhile now and I was wondering what you guys might think of it.

Pictured here is an Aumanii Shock Trooper officer, sculpted 28mm heel to eye.

The decision was made to go with this particular scale compared to standard heroics because I wanted base line human beings to appear smaller than augmented super warriors. This way, there would be a more obvious difference in stature between humans, robots and aliens that are being developed for this setting.

Looks good

Thanks man.

The scaling sounds good in principle, especially since most new ventures (and some revampers like Corvus Belli with their N3 Infinity) go for 32mm minimum these days and most of my stuff is noticeably smaller than that. Would prefer to see comparison shots with a couple of known lines of ca. 28mm minis tho. Also, while the pic isn't flattering the details, the aesthetics seems to be a little too conventional near future/gritty to my tastes.

Your choice of miniature size is most welcome and looks like a very nice little low-tech sci-fi miniature without the overused steampunk style.

These guys in particular are the more low tech faction… Compared to others in the line up. Fluff wise, they have been isolated from the galactic community for quite some time.

I'm on my phone right now, but I'll get some comparisons up later.

Just the Heavy Infantry. The new light infantry are the same size as the old ones.

The Aumanii Shock Trooper officer as compared to a Combine agent from the Infinity line.

Foundationalist pastor, a battlefield medic by trade, compared to a Japanese Imperial Army soldier from the Warlord's Bolt Action range.

Looking at the Fire Warrior comp, the size does seem to be good.

Well, that's good to hear.
