"Russia's Sergey Lavrov is not one foreign minister known to mince his words. Just earlier today, 24 hours after a Russian plane was brought down by the country whose president three years ago said "a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack", had this to say: "We have serious doubts this was an unintended incident and believe this is a planned provocation" by Turkey. But even that was tame compared to what Lavrov said to his Turkish counterparty Mevlut Cavusoglu earlier today during a phone call between the two (Lavrov who was supposed to travel to Turkey has since canceled such plans). As Sputnik transcribes, according to a press release from Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lavrov pointed out that, "by shooting down a Russian plane on a counter-terrorist mission of the Russian Aerospace Force in Syria, and one that did not violate Turkey's airspace, the Turkish government has in effect sided with ISIS."…" See here link Talking about coincidences …. Turkey shoots down a Russia military jet just a week after ISIS oil facilities were targeted by Russian bombers. But Turkey's involvement in this oil trade has been ongoing for a long time as you can see in the video New York Times investigation report reveals… The New York Times in this report also explains why U.S. bombers have not targeted these facilities (at least until now). But then again, Sputnik said it, so the opposite must therefore be true. |

Well put Waco ! What is really shocking, is it took so long to bring out in the open. People died while some turned a blind eye to the Turks oil deal with Daesh, etc., … Shocking indeed ! |

"a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack". Yea, right. Tell that to the American air crews flying over international waters, or in international airspace, who were shot down, or killed by Russian pilots during the Cold War. I suspect the American widows and their orphans also have a different view of Russian policy, not to mention all the civilians murdered in the KAL 007 attack. |

Mako, to be fair most of shootouts were not over international waters – as we've discussed already. link |

Even so in some cases, see the quote I posted above. I do agree we've done a fair bit of probing, and/or overflights of Russian territory, Barin1. |

The Turks, Assad and Iraq is or is suspected to be buying Daesh oil. And the Saudis still allow Wahhabis to teach a radicalized anti-Infidel version of islam. Most of 9//11 murderers were from Saudi Arabia. That is no secret … One wonders why some in the West don't trust or have a positive view of some Islamic countries ? I was going to say "Arab" countries, but Turks and Persians are not/don't consider themselves "Arabs" … however they all are moslem countries … and at this point I don't trust any of them. Again, all moslems are not terrorists … in this situation all terrorists are moslem. There will be no peace in the region until they overcome their age old ethic and religious based hatreds, etc. … And move out of the 15th Century. Or at least into the 20th … |
