"Comrades!! We have to report that, due to the sly wicked nature of our reactionary white enemies (coupled with their better generalship and troop quality), we have suffered a minor and temporary setback in furthering the revolution". "Fear not comrades for we shall gather our strength once more and destroy these enemies of the revolution! Death to the bourgeoisie!" The Whites had to hold a town and await reserves; the Reds to take the town before the White reserves appeared. The White commander successfully rolled for the arrival of most of his reserves pretty early on. The reserves included some "Kornilovsty" – an elite officer cadet unit. This was enough to rescue the beleaguered defenders of the town. Figures: Copplestone and Footsore (Musketeer Miniatures) Rules: bespoke link link link link link link Nottingham Wargames Club

I like "bespoke" -- it suggests something artsanal, custom made. In the US such rules are usually called "homebrew," which inevitably suggests going blind from drinking methylated spirits. Terriffic terrain and minis too! |

I used to have a Back of Beyond collection, Copplestone makes great figs. You guys did a superb job on this project. Glad someone explained 'bespoke' for me though. :) |
