I am looking for a good 20mm scale PaK 36 (the 37mm "door knocker" ATG of early WW2) but I am having a hard time finding photos of what is available. I am not interested in plastic kits or resin models, so that leaves us with companies like Britannia and SHQ. Unfortunately, neither of these companies have photos of their models, so I am uncertain of which I would prefer. Do you have any photos of these models? Which company makes the best anti-tank guns in pewter? Are there other good companies that I am unaware of? |

These are all the companies I found in my bookmarks (after a quick look-- there may be more and I will post them later if there are) that make metal guns such as you are looking for-- MMS has a beautiful one-- I have some of their other guns and they are terrific. link Empress has AB's old line of guns-- I went to look to see if they had a PaK 36 but the web site is broken or something. No products show at all… Early War Miniatures has one but I can't vouch for the quality as I haven't yet bought any of their products. link FAA makes one, but no picture. link Warmodelling (Fantassin) makes one. link Shellhole makes one, but again, no picture. link |

I think I have pics of the Britannia one and the SHQ one in use. The SHQ one is small and a little fragile, but very nice. The Britannia is bigger and far more solid and a great gaming piece. I just got rid of both of them and replaced them with PSC Russian 45mm guns with the barrel ring removed. A little oversized but looks good on the table. |

The OP only wants metal kits, which restricts the choices a bit. All my 20mm Pak 36s are plastic! |
