Just checking if folks concur the M113 plastic model is the same. The vanilla one, aware that you get TY greeblies not available in the FoN box.

Yes, and no, I guess.

The new ones are supposed to have the M163 SPAA gatling gun, and the M901 Hammerhead attachment as options, compared to the other M113s.

I suspect they may otherwise be similar.

Really wish they'd added the M150 TOW option. A shame they didn't, since that is such a simple, and easy addition, with minimal cost.

M150s were out of service – replaced by the M901 by the Team Yankee timeframe

I'm sure it will be similar, but not the same. Those M113s had a lot of neat bits on the sprues which won't be needed in Team Yankee. But I could be wrong.

Yea, I know, but still, I suspect they may want to backdate the game slightly, if it sells well, and a barrel and mount would be pretty simple to include.

Given the cost of producing styrene plastic molds, seems to me like it would be a lot cheaper to offer the tube now, than to come up with a new mold with it, later.

The short of it for me is should I buy the on sale Jordanian box for vanilla M113's.

Thought from pictures the TY M113 has a dragon launcher option.

Get Jordanian M113, then make both the M163 and the M901s with the TY set.
