A few photos from our completely hypothetical early 2000s ‘Russia intervenes in Iraq' scenario. A bit far fetched, I know, I know… Anyway, the Russians got bogged down through determined British resistance. A breakthrough looked on the cards when the T80s took out a Warrior and a Challenger II, but beyond that they couldn't winkle the infantry out of the buildings fast enough to gain a victory. Still, some ‘Post Soviet Chic' armour on display nonetheless. link link link link link Nottingham Wargames Club |

Yes, Force on Force. To be honest, Force on Force works better with fewer units on table and if you were to play it correctly, is too complicated for serious armour on armour engagements. We dropped a lot of the special rules and annoying 'must remember that as it's not on the QRS' stipulations that are common in rules nowadays. |
