The pictures on the Warlord site show two of the Gallic Fanstics carrying shields… does anyone know if the shields are a part of the casting, or a separate piece? I figure I can head swap out the two helmeted heads, but shields can be tricky to remove. For reference, I have started on my Morokanth (sp?) force for my Runequest project, and I need nekkid humans armed but otherwise unequipped and unadorned. Thank you. |

No idea about the Fanatics, but what are you using for Morokanth? I'm planning to use the Otherworld cavemen as my herdmen alongside the Fenris tapirmen. They look quite slack-jawed and have clubs. |

I bought a couple of Safari "Rain Forest" Toobs on sale at Michaels for $7 USD each… I figured that was a fair price for each tapir, and I have some extras besides. They require some conversion work, one will be my Wizard and the other my Apprentice for Frostgrave, which seems singularly well suited for wargaming Glorantha. But I am not afraid of conversion work! |

That's good value! Well done. |

I thought a company made Morokanth in the 80s? I guess they'd be hard to find. At $7 USD per fig + labour you might be better off getting one sculpted as a commissioned item, and have a bunch cast up, depending on how big your army project is. Regards David F Brown |

Fenris do a few examples, probably not useful for you, but they're there. Photo blocked by adult filter: "picture" |

The Warlord fanatics have separate shields as far as I can remember. |

The Fenris ones are nice; IIRC there are only three poses though. There are old Citadel and Tabletop morokanth, too. |

Thank you, Acephal. In a topic wholly derailed from my question, you zeroed back in on what I *really* wanted to know. I really enjoyed the Morokanth discussion from the rest of y'alls, too! |

Being being entirely familiar with the source material, would Copplestone's Botocudo Warriors be suitable? link Defintely naked, but they have an unusual hair style and are armed with what appear to be primitive cricket bats. Based on the poses avaialable, they look like they could be easily converted. |
