1stcorps sells a bunch of accessories, they might have a draco standard

You can make a vertical banner by using images of actual banners on google. Search for medieval or iconic banners…which would be appropriate. The images can be scaled using any paint program.

You might have to buy command packs for the Draco but many companies who deal in Dark Age/Early Medieval figures have them. It should be fine up to Hastings.

There is a draco on the tapestry though a bit fancier than a simple windsock. This style may have survived well into the Plantagenets (or been replaced by a flag with a dragon). link shows both the A/S dragon and a Plantagenet era one in a romance of Arthur so either fictional or repesenting the kind used by e.g. Henry III.

I'd be inclined to just have a few pennants. See Druzhina's collection such as link where lances tend to be unadorned.

See Eureka's Beowulf range for a nice looking draco. I've used it a couple of times by clipping it off and sticking it on another figure (then repurposing the original figure).
