Anyone able to tell me how long the M-160 mortar barrel is? I can find confirmation that it replaced the M1943/MT-13 160mm mortar, and had a longer barrel for longer range, but not how long it actually was! |

Per Wikipedia: Barrel length: 3.03 m (9 ft 11 in) Not sure of the authors source/reloability, so someone may have a better or more correct answer. |

Never mind that was the M1943. |

That's what I found – it says the M-160 was longer, but not how much longer! |

We had these mortars for about a year. Nasty beast, shell is very heavy to load, but it is relatively precise, and it hurts a lot when it hits |

Excellent, thank you Barin. Seems the range went up to 8000 metres with the longer barrel too. |
