I don't check the PM inbox very often, mostly because I don't expect to see any. But lo and behold there was one from a few days ago, so I click to view it. Essentially it asks me to click a link to verify my email address. So I do and then it asks me to enter my password. Fair enough. Then another link is revealed marked "verify now". So I do and then I'm told that the server has sent me an email. So all I have to do now is exit TMP and open another browser window and log into my email and no doubt click on another link in the email the server sent me. Is that enough hoops Bill? Why, having entered my password, can I not just click once to confirm that the email address you already have is still my email address? It's not as though I am a new member and you need to check everything first. If nothing has changed why put me through this? Maybe this will become unnecessary once TMP 4.007 rolls out after the Christmas sales? |

Thats funny mine had an email in it. It seems Bill is a lost Spainish prince being held by the editors, and if I could only send some money. But they told me not to tell anyone so forget it. |

It proves you're not a 'bot and keeps TMP spam free. If you dint use web mail it would reduce some of your inconvenience. |

Deephorse, my guess is that you are not using cookies? That would explain the extra steps. |

Bill, I'm using an iad mini and I don't see any option to use or ignore cookies. I don't have to log in each time I visit TMP so I guess that cookies are enabled. Ravenscraft – webmail has its uses. Keeps my day-to-day email accounts spam free too. |

Bill, I'm using an iad mini and I don't see any option to use or ignore cookies. That option will be in your browser settings. |
