We played this game a couple of weeks ago at GigaBites Cafe in Marietta, GA.
2 Aussie platoons were to go after some Japanese defenses along a low ridge. The Japanese defender had a weak platoon with entrenchments and a MMG bunker. Another Japanese platoon would come on to counter attack later. I had planned on bringing in a troop of Matildas (recently finished) to even out the also recently completed 75mm Field gun that would also be on the ridge. But the bloody close assaults on both flanks left the Japanese with no Force Morale and the Aussies with no troops.

Fabulous table. Lots of detail. I could look at that for ages and still find something new about it. Well done.

I can't see who makes the figures – given as 20mm. Can you help?

Great sounding game. Your scenery is fantastic. Have you done any "how to…." walk throughs anywhere?

Microbiggie21 Nov 2015 6:49 a.m. PST

The figures come from several different lines. Eureka and Stonewall/Combat are majority but also F&F, Warmodelling and RAFM.
The main ground cloth is fabric called Grizzly Bear Fur-longer than teddy bear fur.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark, how do you go about recolouring the teddy bear fur?

The fur comes from a fabric store-in my case it was JoAnne's Fabrics. It comes in a dark brown so you have to color it. In my case I sprayed it various grassy green colors (as stated a few times before).
Thanks,
Mark
