So did German and Dutch units carry regimental and National colors into battle in 1900?

Did Brigades in the United States Army during this period have their own flags or only Regimental ones?

Who makes this odd assortment of flags in 15mm?

You need to find that guy ooh what was his name… Sherman, Sheldon something, I think he was a engineer or chemist by trade. Anyway he co-hosted a website with Wil Weaton from Star Trek. That's Right! "Fun With Flags".

Sorry I have no idea.

Except on ceremonial occassions, I doubt that anyone by 1900 carried flags into battle. They would certainly have them to fly over forts and outposts though.

Both the Russians and the Japanese were still carrying flags in the field in the Russo-Japanese War(1904-05). And I think most of the continents in the Boxer Rebellion (1900) did, as well.

The US Army would not have had brigade flags, since brigades were not permanent units.

Many units carried them in the first battles of WW1 too.

The Germans certainly carried regimental colours into battle in 1914.

Right now the Human invasion force will consist of three national or Imperial groups; German Dutch, British and United States. Each of these groups has between 16 and 20 assault ships, each of which carries either a company or a half company (20 or 10 figures or a section or a battery of artillery)

The US force is three regiments of cavalry, remounted as aerial cavalry. Each regiment will have six landers. All regiments will have a command lander which will fly their regimental flag. The command flyer for the 1st Volunteer Cavalry will fly both the Regimental and the United States Flag. Since each lander will be carrying either a full Company/Squadron each lander will have a guidon.

The American landers are all assigned to the Quartermaster Corps and will carry markings for that branch and will be assigned to individual QM Corps companies. Each QM Company is six flyers and can carry a cavalry regiment or half an Infantry Regiment

The British flyers are amry and will not fly colored recognition flags. So will the flyers be Royal Army Corps?

Still not sure about the Germano-Dutch
