Well I promised to post pictures once I had completed these so here they are

picture
the crew figures are the same figure with one cut down to fit in the front compartment, the stowage is all Tamiya with some homemade bits thrown in for good measure
picture
so there they are. So thanks for looking
Cheers for now Russ

These look like mid to late production M4A3 Shermans, so that makes them 1/48 Hobby Boss kits?

shaun from s and s models20 Nov 2015 12:16 p.m. PST

nice modelling,
btw they are mid production m4's
italeri/warlord 1/56 at a guess.

Thanks all

Generalstoner49, thank you its the first time I've used humbrol weathering powders! I'm not sure I got the best from yet but its early days.

Wrgmr1thank you also, they looked pretty good even without any paint on them. Not the most detailed of models compared to Tamiya and Hobby Boss but very nice all the same.

28mm Fanatik, Shaun from s and s models is spot on! They are the italeri/warlord plastic kits! They certainly look the part

Grossman thank you also for the kind words, they are very much appreciated.

Robby, not quite up to Tamiyas standard but not to shabby either, they are more robust than Tamiya! I'm still not keen on 1/56th scale for Vehicles they seem stunted in MHO.

So thanks to all for the comments, thanks for looking and I will catch you all soon
Cheers for now Russ

Very nice job on those.

Thanks GGouveia, the kits are simple to build. Paint up nicely and seem pretty reboust. I suppose you really cant ask for much more! and my local shop now stocks them so they are easy to pick up.
