Lion Rampant is an entirely different game, later medieval, single based figures, skirmishg game. You may be thinking of his other Osprey set, Dux Bellorum. Same scale and period as GoR, armies would do for both. Look on Boardgamegeek for a good description and reviews, though he does have his own forum now. |

Lion Rampant works fine for Dark Ages with some very minor tweaks. Dan Mersey even published some suggested tweaks in Wargames Illustrated issue 331. LR is good for large skirmish & I've seen people run some quite large games with it too. |

Dux Bellorum is an improved, streamlined version of GoR; sort of a second edition, if you like. |
