Looks like the release I've been waiting for is finally out! link Unfortunately it came with a much heftier price tag than I was expecting. I know TableTop World buildings are all somewhat pricey, but they are so awesome that I've never regretted buying them. This one is really pushing it though… what do you guys think? I know it's nice, but is it value for money at that price? I can't even tell if the ground floor of the towers are accessible. What's a guy to do?! |

Looks stunning but at 250 Euros ouch ! Assuming this is a gate between two walls I am somewhat baffled that the towers slope at the side - |

I love the piece but the price took me back a bit, I need that and the tower to complete all their buildings except for TH3. If I order both I will get free the TH3 so I am considering it. On FB they said they are coming out with walls(which they need with it) I agree about the sloping ends. Not sure how they plan to handle that, I just finished painting the windnill and love the detail and ease of painting… |

I just discovered the town gate release last night myself. Looks absolutely amazing, but is pricey. I too was wondering about the logic of the sloped walls. Doesn't make sense to have a town gate be a stand alone piece, you'd need walls for it. But as was said above, on FB they said they are making walls. I suppose you could make your own walls easily enough to match the piece, out of insulation foam, really not too difficult to to a couple straight pieces. I could be wrong, but it seems like when they were designing this, they were trying to go for a piece that could be used as a sort of castle keep/fortress or as a town gate. Of course, the gate leading to nowhere wouldn't make sense if it was a keep! |

The only thing that concerns me about this piece is that the dimensions seem a bit underwhelming. It looks really imposing in the photographs, but I measured out 17.5 x 7.5 x 17.5…that's not all that big. I believe that their new coaching inn also suffered from the same sort of underwhelming scale. Some of their older stuff was markedly bigger. The new coaching inn actually has doors that are too short for 25mm figures, when you put figures next to it, their heads are above the top of the doors. Not taking anything away from the amazing detail of their buildings, but the dimensions issue has me hesitating as to whether I should buy any of their pieces. |

For 250€, I could put down a depsit on a 1:1 scale version. |

Does anyone have any insight as to whether the ground floor of the towers is accessible? It doesn't appear to be so from the pictures… but none of there other buildings had large amounts of wasted unplayable space, and it would not seem to make sense! |

For 250 Euros, it should come with two wall sections (at least) included in the overall price. Selling the wall sections separately is really gouging the customer in my opinion. |
