The 61st Regiment of Foot were already a seasoned battalion when they arrived at Lisbon in June 1809.
Nicknamed the "Silver Dandies" they would later become known as "The Flowers of Toulouse", a proud title for a regiment with a distinguished record of service throughout the Napoleonic Wars. If you would like to know more then just follow the link to JJ's link Jonathan |

Hey thanks Colin, very kind. My method is simple and I hope from the tutorials easy to replicate if you like the style, or can be bothered to do it. The great thing as far as I am concerned is it works just as well in 28mm as it does for 18mm so with my eyesight reducing in acuity with each passing year, I plan to move on to bigger stuff in time. |
