Are corporals represented as separate miniatures on the gaming table? Is a 6 man squad 5 privates & a corporal or is a 6 man squad made up of 6 privates & a corporal. I picture the corporal standing behind his squad ready to rally his men as needed and not actually on the firing line and therefore not counted as part of the squads strength. Thanks in advance, Tom |

I don't – but I don't often skirmish game in ACW My 28mm troopers are mostly privates with the occasional sergeant |

I got my answer from the Ganesha facebook site. A six man squad is 1 cpl and 5 pvts. |

Corporals would be on the line with their med while skirmishing, and in the front rank while formed. Sergeants and officers were behind the line shouting encouragement and generally being commanding. |
