Closed due to military exercises the day I went there. I was heartbroken. Got to see Borodino battlefield instead. |

Also visited once. Highly recommended if only for the oddities of prototypes and pre-WW2 wierdies. |

Visited once with a tour guide (as my Russian is nonexistent). I wished I had at least twice as as much time to just oggle all of the great stuff there. Ahhh . . . . |

There is also a big outdoor line up at the great patriotic war museum, out of the way sort of hidden. |
