I have a fluff/background question about the Firestorm Armada Terran Alliance Ares class carrier. This question is to support an effort to convert the ship to Full thrust stats.

Are the Big rail/tubes "things" on the front met to be launch tubes? How does the carrier recover the Fighters/Bombers back? Is there a separate hanger door?

I have taken my best quest but maybe someone here knows the fluff behind the model more.
