Last night our club played the Battle of Virton in 6mm using the Great War Spearhead II rules. It's a historical meeting engagement between a French and German corps as part of a local allied counter-attack in Belgium in August 1914. Stop by our club site and check out the photos and quick AAR!

Thank you very much for the write up and the photos. Top quality as usual. I found that the ridge favoured the Germans rather more, as they were able to occupy the highest ground first. Love the description of the abortive French flank attack :-)
