Headed there in a couple weeks. I suspect there won't be brick and mortar historical game stores for the same reason there aren't many in New York – steep real estate prices. But if there are any please let me know. Thank you. |

Orc's Nest and Dark Sphere are two that I know of. Both have websites so you can look them up and plan your journey! |

Orcs Nest have a tiny selection of Historicals upstairs. Mostly Perry/Warlord/GB plastics. Lots of rule sets on racks behind historical figures. Dark Spheres is a bit hard to find. Every type of paint you could ever ask for. Only Historicals I have seen there are Flames of War and Warlord WW2 stuff. |

I would add Leisure Games to the above, but this previous post has a little more… TMP link |

In central London Orcs Nest is probably the best bet as it covers historicals not too badly, and has a large number of rules and boardgames as well as all the F-Sf and RP{G stock. |

If your visit takes you north, look up Boyes stores. They are not a games store. They are a bit like the old Woolworths without the music and DVD section. Instead it has a miniatures section with a good range of plastic historicals. From memory they stock Perry, Warlord, Victrix, Plastic Soldier, Zvezda, etc. It also has a full range of Acrylic and enamel paints, modelling tools, etc. |

The best place for wargames shopping is at a show (convention). Have a look at what may be on while you are here. Doug |

I like Modelzone on High Holborn, mind you, haven't been for a bit ModelZone went into administration in 2013. All the shops have now closed. WH Smith bought the brand and Modelzone products can be purchased online or at WH Smith shops in Cardiff, Croydon, Gateshead Metro, Glasgow Sauchiehall, Kingston Upon Thames, London White City, Manchester Arndale, Meadowhall and Reading |
