I liked them a lot. Every strip was 1", and the figures are sturdy. Painting was indeed very quick, and units look great on the table. I've painted about 500 of them, while my buddy can field huge armies. |

I second scomac. One warning: the flags are molded as part of the casting, so you can't easily do decals like you could with just flagpole carriers. That's the trickiest part to me, painting Federal flags (two to a command stand). I love OG's ACW line, though, and it forms the vast majority of my armies. |

As stated before they're decent figures for a good price. They look fine on the table. As far as the width of the strip goes, I just use nippers to take a little off one side of the base. Once they are flocked you don't notice it. I've done about 400-500 so far. |

Good workable figures at a very decent price, can build large armies quickly and cheaply, what's not too like! |
