OK, So. Just finished the most recent Harry Dresden book and realized that he and he allies would make a pretty good Frostgrave band. So, ant not-Dresden figures available? Even just a resizable facsimile of the man himself would be helpful. |

For those not familiar with Harry, he is over 6', of slender if muscular build, wears modern clothes, usually a t-shirt and jeans, and a leather duster (magically bullet proof), a bracelet of silver charms, and wields a heavily carved staff, a "blasting rod" (a wand), and typically also packs a pistol (a revolver, IIRC) as backup. On the book covers he is shown wearing a wide-brimmed fedora, but the books state specifically that he doesn't wear a hat. Occasionally he will have a sword, possibly a katana, though he does not wield the blade (it is a holy sword that he "keeps" until he finds a worthy Knight of the Cross to turn it over to). He might also hold a skull or wear a satchel. The brief TV series memorably made the staff a hockey stick and the wand a drumstick, which is a clever alternative look. |

That Reaper Sam Ayers is pretty close. He's got the fedora, duster and staff. The flashlight could be swapped out for a pistol. |

Fantastic conversion, Leidang. Nazrat: Not in the text, no, but all the book covers show a black fedora… even after Butcher had Harry observe that he doesn't wear a hat! Things You Learn In Publishing: The publisher* chooses what the cover looks like, no matter what the author writes, says, or wants. *Actually, in the US at least, Barnes and Noble does the choosing. Not a joke. |

Reminds me of Glen Cook's Garret Files. Garret hates hats and rarely wears one but of course on every cover he has a fedora. |
