Borrowed a 3d printer, thought I should start off with an IP infringement. It took a few attempts and quite a lot of calibration but finally I have results:

you bad, bad, bad person, all that IP infringement. Pretty good print, assume was a higher end printer. Regards MMG. |

The printer is a Wanhao Duplicator 4, don't know if that counts as higher end. Min layer thickness is 0.1 mm which means layering is visible but acceptable. Flat faces and sharp edges work well, organic shapes so far look like melted wax :/ |

No sale, sorry. This is strictly for personal use – anything else would be running headlong into real IP infringement territory without a paddle. |

You know if you were to open the top on that thing it could be rather cool vehicle for one maybe two space marines, like some sort of scout car! Kind of like this;

Is that 20mm scale? Looks like it's halfway between 15mm and 28mm. |

@javelin98: Well, that depends :) I printed it at 56.25% size (ie 18/32, as I figured these sizes are closer to the actual height of the minis). The length of the printed rhino is about 67 mm, and various sources state a rhino is supposed to be 6.6 m, so it's pretty close to 1:100 scale. Looks good to me. |

Nice work Lupulus! Did you get files from somewhere or have a model scanned? Gunnar, Always great to see your really impressive 15mm 40k. |

Good lord I wish That Company would do 40k in 15mm! I hate the game, but love the models. 15mm would be much more epic – pun intended. Better not wish, that's more money I'd lose. |

Sgt agreed I can't get past the tank traffic jams….15mm might still be off from scale projectiles…..but less so with tanks / etc. Come to think of it I would not enjoy 15mm so much if GW entered the fray |

I use Airfix 1/76th scale M113 Acav's as Rhinos and they are about dead on scaling wise. |

With so much excellent 15mm product available at reasonable prices why would anyone want or need that company to join the market? |
